Countdown to Cambodia…51 days to go!

In just over 50 sleeps, our first group of students to travel to Cambodia as part of Walkabout Cambodia will be flying out of Perth on an adventure of a lifetime.  Six students from PCACS along with four students from John Wollaston Anglican Community School and 16 students from Frederick Irwin Anglican School will be embarking on this journey that will very much take them out of their comfort zone to work alongside ex-street children in the Transform Cambodia centres.  They will spend time creating relationships, teaching the children some basic English through play, one-on-one work and music, as well as learning about the rich and diverse culture and traditions of the country.  Please keep all of the students and teachers in your thoughts and prayers as they prepare for this enriching experience.

As we prepare these students to depart, we are also in the beginning stages of the Walkabout Cambodia 2020 tour.  Students in Years 10 and 11 are invited to apply for this trip.  Applications are due in by 1 March 2019.  Please see or email Mrs Weddikkara for more information (rebeccaw@pcacs.wa.edu.au).
