DO YOU HAVE TO BE ANGLICAN TO BE OFFERED A PLACE AT PCACS?
We ask all families to uphold the Christian ethos of the School. Our students come from a variety of religious backgrounds. All PCACS students participate in Anglican worship and the Anglican Schools Commission’s Religious Education curriculum. 

ARE THERE WAITLISTS FOR PLACES AND DOES ANYONE GET PREFERENCE?
As the School grows we do sometimes have waitlists for certain year groups. Preference is given to students in accordance with the School Policy on Enrolments. We encourage parents to submit applications early to avoid disappointment. 

DO I HAVE TO PAY THE WHOLE OF THE SCHOOL FEES IN ADVANCE?
No, you can pay weekly, fortnightly, monthly, per term or annually by direct debit or at the beginning of each term. If you pay all fees at the beginning of the year, we offer a 2.5% discount on tuition fees. (If you pay per week or per term options, the direct debit option is by credit/debit card only. Note: No credit card fees are applied to transactions). All financial information can be accessed HERE.

IS THERE ANY DISCOUNT FOR SIBLINGS?
Yes, there is a 20% discount on tuition fees for a second child, 40% for a third child and 60% for a fourth child. A fifth or subsequent child attracts 100% discount on tuition fees. These concessions are available to families with two or more children enrolled in the School at the same time with one fee account.

DO YOU HAVE OUT OF SCHOOL CARE FACILITIES?
A number of local external providers meet the needs of our families. We are partnered with 'Extend - Before and After School Care'. Extend offer their services across both campuses. Click HERE to visit their website.

We offer a Co Curricular programme for 8 weeks of the term as well as Library facilities which are usually available from 3:30pm - 4:30pm.

DO YOU HAVE A SCHOOL BUS?
Our School is excited to be partnered with local bus company Mandurah Bus Charters and use TransportmeTM to provide a user-friendly app-base ticketing system, which allows you to pay for fares, check bus routes, save stops and track buses in real time all through an electronic and cashless system. The PCACS private bus service is available to students from Pre Primary – Year 12, with families having the added peace of mind that your child/ren are only travelling with PCACS students. We currently operate three daily bus routes known as the Northern Route, Southern Route and Rockingham Route. Transperth buses stop right outside the School and the Wellard train station is only a 2-minute bus ride away (or a healthy 10-minute walk). We hire buses for excursions, camps and sporting events.

IS THERE A CANTEEN?
Yes, it operates 5 days a week at Wellard. Home-cooked meals are available every day and we strictly adhere to the Traffic Light system with the majority of our menu being green items. Parents can use the online ordering system. See the Canteen page under the Community Section for menu details. 

WHAT TIME DOES SCHOOL START AND FINISH?
Students at the Wellard Campus (Junior School and Senior School) are required to be at their desks, ready for work by 8.20am and they finish classes at 3.10pm. Students at the Calista campus start at 8.20 am and finish at 3.00pm.

WHAT DO I DO IF MY CHILD CANNOT ATTEND SCHOOL ON PARTICULAR DAYS?
If a child will not be attending, we require parents to notify Student Services before 9.00am either by phoning 9411 4814 or email absences@pcacs.wa.edu.au. Permission should be sought in writing in advance from the Principal if your child is going to be absent for non-medical reasons. 

WHAT SPORTS DO YOU OFFER AND DO YOU PLAY INTERSCHOOL SPORT?
With an array of sports on offer through to Co Curricular activities and Interhouse, Interschool and regional competitions, PCACS students have the opportunity to develop sportsmanship, interpersonal skills and sporting abilities. Our Junior School competes in the local Kwinana Schools Sporting Association and the Senior School competes in the Associated & Catholic Colleges competitions. 

In addition to our thriving Netball and Basketball Clubs, we are also partnered with Ricky Grace and offer our PCACS Basketball Academy.

DO YOU HAVE A MUSIC PROGRAMME?
We offer a variety of music options. We have Co Curricular sessions for choirs, bands and ensembles. Students with an aptitude for music can also apply for the Voyager Music Instrumental Programme which is offered for students entering Year 7. We also engage Instrumental Tutors for students wishing to study a particular instrument or vocals and these half-hour sessions take place during the school week, for more information on music tuition please email the Music Office.

DO YOU HAVE A PASTORAL CARE SYSTEM?
Class teachers in Junior School are responsible for their students’ pastoral care. In the Senior School, we have Tutor Groups with each group cared for by a Tutor Teacher and we have Year Coordinators for each Year level. We also have a Director of Pastoral Care and Wellbeing, Counsellor, Chaplain and Heads of School. Your child's wellbeing is important to us.

WHY IS THE UNIFORM IMPORTANT?
We pride ourselves on the appearance of our students, Students are required to dress in accordance with the Uniform Policy. Our students are not allowed to wear makeup or have coloured hair and may wear only designated jewellery. 

DO YOU CATER FOR SPECIAL NEEDS STUDENTS?
We can accommodate the needs of our students by assisting students requiring literacy or numeracy support right through to offering extension for our high achieving students.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY CHILD DOESN’T DO THE RIGHT THING?
Our Behaviour Management Plan outlines the expectations of behaviour in our School and the consequences of inappropriate actions as well as the rewards for positive actions. The focus is on developing student understanding and responsibility.
