Scholarships

Peter Carnley Anglican Community School offers a number of scholarships to current and prospective students. Scholarship applications for 2025 are now CLOSED.

Scholarships for 2026 will open again in February 2025. 

The Archbishop Dr Peter Carnley Scholarship for Academic Excellence 

This scholarship is awarded to current or prospective students who demonstrate outstanding Academic Excellence. The value and duration of the Scholarship is at the discretion of the Principal and is subject to the student maintaining a high level of academic achievement. Students from different year levels will be considered for this scholarship. 

All Rounder Scholarship 

This scholarship is awarded to current or prospective students who add value to the life of the School in areas of service, culture, sport and academia. All-round excellence will benchmark this student. Characteristically, this student will be a strong academic achiever, with demonstrated strengths across a number of areas, such as sport, drama, music, visual arts and language. The value and duration of the Scholarship is at the discretion of the Principal. Students from different year levels will be considered for this scholarship. 

The Bishop David Murray Scholarship for Leadership / Citizenship 

This scholarship is awarded to current or prospective students who demonstrate the values of the School: Spirituality, Excellence,  Respect and Belonging. The selected student will also demonstrate a positive contribution to the School and the wider community. The value and duration of the Scholarship is at the discretion of the Principal. Students from different year levels will be considered for this scholarship. 

The Grace and Truth Scholarship 

This scholarship is awarded to current or prospective students who face economic, social or other disadvantages, which would make enrolment at Peter Carnley Anglican Community School very difficult. The value and duration of the Scholarship are at the discretion of the Principal. Students from different year levels will be considered for this scholarship. 

The John Moody Scholarship for Excellence in Sport 

This scholarship is awarded to current or prospective students who demonstrate outstanding sporting ability and are positive and active ambassadors for Sports in their school community. The selected student will also demonstrate a high level of participation in State, National or International sports. Students from different year levels will be considered for this scholarship. 

The Lindbeck Family Scholarship 

This scholarship is open to current students and is awarded at the discretion of the Principal rather than by direct application. The Lindbeck Family Scholarship is awarded to a student in Year 11 for the duration of their Year 12 studies the following year. The recipient will have demonstrated sound academic achievement, a positive attitude and strong leadership will have complied with the standards and expectations of the School and will be an exemplary role model.
