Anglicare WA Christmas Appeal

YMAD (Youth Making a Difference) is collecting items that will help to spread warmth and light to those in need this Christmas.  When going through hard times, families struggle to afford back to school supplies.  Not being able to send your child to school with the correct school supplies impacts not only their education but their confidence and dignity too.  During this Christmas season, we want to make sure as many of those children receive the back to school supplies they need, ready for the 2020 school year.

Donation options:

  • School Supplies (must be brand new or never used): lunch boxes, backpacks, pencil cases, drink bottles, coloured pencils, glue sticks, erasers, pens, exercise books, textas, scrapbooks, scissors, rulers, headphones

  • Fix It With 5: any spare change collected will be used to purchase school supplies

  • Gift Cards: Target, Kmart, Big W, Coles, Woolworths, Officeworks

Donations to be brought in by the end of Week 7.

Reece Whitby MLA, Member for Baldivis, has kindly donated a bike and helmet worth $300 to the School to be raffled.  Tickets are available at Wellard Administration - $1 for 1 or $2 for 3.  The winner will be drawn by Mr Whitby at Carols on the Green.  The winner is able to exchange the bike for the correct size.  All money collected from the raffle will go towards purchasing items for the Christmas Appeal.
