Chaplain's Commissioning and Blessing of the Chapel Site

On Thursday 20 February, the PCACS community gathered in the Keith Lindbeck Centre for the commissioning of The Reverend Kim Thomas (Rev Kim) as our new School Chaplain. Rev Kim was presented with the Archbishop's licence by The Most Reverend Kay Goldsworthy AO (Archbishop of Perth) to lead as School Chaplain in this important Ministry role.

In what was a meaningful and memorable service, many invited guests from The Anglican Schools Commission, Anglican School Chaplain's in WA and members of the Diocese of Perth were in attendance to celebrate this historical day for the School. We were fortunate to welcome:

The Most Reverend Kay Goldsworthy AO, Archbishop of Perth, The Reverend Peter Lawrence OAM, CEO of the Anglican Schools Commission, The Most Reverend Dr Peter Carnley AC, School Patron, Mr Philip Goldsworthy, Chair of Council, Her Worship the Mayor of Kwinana Carol Adams OAM, ASC Principals, Chairs and Chaplains, Members of Mundaring Parish, Members of All Saints Parish, Members of Cockburn Area Deanery, President of the P&F Association, Members of School Council and PCACS families.

Following the commissioning, our official party and guests, including student leaders and staff walked in procession over to the site of the future Chapel for an official blessing. #pcacslife #petercarnleyacs #asc #anglicanschoolscommission #caroladams #revkim
