Crazy Hair Day 2021

Crazy Hair Day was held on Friday 26 March and once again, was a wonderful success.  It was encouraging to see so many students getting involved with their wacky hairstyles and donating a gold coin to raise money for cancer research and support.

At lunchtime, four brave Year 12 students and Rev Kim participated in the World’s Greatest Shave to raise money for the Leukaemia Foundation.  These inspiring people collectively raised over $6000.  Congratulations to:

  • Mia Hudson for shaving her head and raising $1861
  • Rev Kim for shaving her head and raising $1507
  • Emma Galbraith for chopping off her 35cm ponytail and raising $1110
  • Zyllah Day for shaving her head and raising $900
  • Scott Matthews for shaving his head for the second year in a row and raising $560

Thank you to Libby Bircumshaw for donating her time and talents to be our hairdresser on the day.

In total, the School raised $6424 for Leukaemia Foundation and $1278 for CanTeen.

Congratulations and thank you to all involved.
