Duke of Edinburgh Award Winners
Term 4 has commenced at PCACS and the Whole School reunited with a Principal's Assembly in the Keith Lindbeck Centre.
The focus of the assembly was to acknowledge three of our Year 12 School leaders who have achieved a Gold level in the Duke of Edinburgh Award: Mitchell Mullineux (Head Boy), Shekinah Wilkinson (Head Girl) and Annelise Morton (Service Captain).
The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award is available to all 14–24 year olds, regardless of their background. The Award is comprised of three levels each progressively more challenging, Bronze, Silver and Gold. Participants are required to complete four sections at each level: Voluntary Service, Skill, Physical Recreation and Adventurous Journey. Gold level participants also complete a Gold Residential Project.
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, the formal presentation ceremony was cancelled this year. However, the School was lucky enough to welcome Mayor Carol Adams OAM (Mayor of the City of Kwinana) and Tegan Brown (WA Programs Manager - Duke of Edinburgh's International Award) who presented the recipients with their Awards.

Through this challenging journey of self-discovery, Participants:
