Year 10 Penguin Island Excursion
On Monday 21 March, the Year 10 students ventured to Penguin Island for a Geography Fieldwork Excursion.
The students enjoyed a cruise to explore and spot wildlife and sea lions, followed by Penguin feeding and information session on the island. The students walked and explored the island, learning about its biodiversity, history and completing field sketches. Although the scheduled beach-clean-up for the 'Adopt a Beach Program' didn't take place at the end of the day, students thoroughly enjoyed the experience, some even lucky enough to spot a family of dolphins just meters away from the boat!
