Year 10 Science Investigation

On Tuesday 21 May the Year 10 Science students began their first long term investigation for the year into the intricacies of chemical reactions and rates.

Students individually designed their investigative technique then embarked on a systematic trial and redesign process developing and refining their experiment to collect the necessary data to prove or disprove their stated hypothesis.

Students creativity and engineering skills were displayed throughout the three individual classes and their Scientific analytical and design skills were put to the test. The development of “true” research and scientific investigative experiences is integral to the Science curriculum here at Peter Carnley Anglican Community School.
