Welcome to the 2021 School year
As the School holidays draw to a close, the staff have returned to prepare for the year ahead. We have been busy during the break to prepare the grounds and classrooms for the return of our student. A major project was the painting of the Junior North block both inside and out with new carpets and furniture. A number of other minor projects have been completed including the new forts in the bush play area and staff are now busy setting up classrooms for the students to begin next week.
New Start and Finish Times
This year we introduce new course offerings and opportunities across the School. To accommodate these enhancements, a new timetable with new start and finish times has been created.
Calista campus 8.35am – 3.00pm Cocurricular 3.15pm – 4.15pm
Wellard campus 8.20am – 3.10pm Cocurricular 3.30pm – 4.30pm
Note: Junior School doors open at 8.20am. Senior School Period 1 starts 8.20am.
These times will also assist with drop off and pick up across the two campuses. More details can be found in the Junior School News.
Welcome to our new students
We have 181 new students joining us this year, with new students across most classes in the School, with the majority joining in Kindergarten and Year 7. This year Pre Kindergarten students will be enrolled for the first time and we have a number of families returning to PCACS. We look forward to welcoming our new students and trust they will settle in quickly and enjoy all that PCACS has to offer. Please click HERE for the starting days and times.
We are also excited to launch our private bus service which will commence in Week 2. Information will be issued early next week.
Congratulations to our Graduating Class of 2020

Advice for the Start of Term
The first few weeks of school can be challenging for students and their families.
These tips are very useful especially in the first few weeks:
- Prioritise sleep as the School day is demanding and returning to early wake ups can be challenging
- Be organised - pack School bags and set out uniforms the night before
- Start with a good breakfast and pack a healthy recess and lunch plus a water bottle
- Allow plenty of time to arrive at school on time
- Set up a study space at home with a regular study routine
- Use the School diary as a tool for organisation and communication
- Actively listen to the stories of the day
- Be encouraging and positive
- If you are worried, contact the School
I wish everybody all the best for the 2021 School year!
God bless.
Ms Felicity House
