Welcome to the 2022 School year.
As the School holidays draw to a close, the staff have been busy preparing for the year ahead. A number of projects have been completed across the School during the holidays, including new furniture for the Year 6 classrooms, new carpet and paint across a series of rooms, a new Art Studio has been created and there are shelters along the pick-up area. I thank the Buildings and Grounds staff for this work and for keeping the gardens and lawns in such great condition during this extremely hot summer break. The students will return to our beautiful grounds in top shape.
Building updates
We begin the year with the two building projects under construction. The Chapel has been named Grace Chapel and will be completed this term. The Hub is progressing well, with the extension to the upper floor taking shape. The Hub will incorporate a café style canteen, a large auditorium, IT help desk office, classrooms, lockers, refurbished bathrooms and a large upstairs resource centre.
Welcome to our new students
We have 200 new students joining us this year, with new students across most classes in the School, with the majority joining in Pre Kindergarten and Year 7. It is wonderful to see a number of families returning to PCACS. We look forward to welcoming our new students and trust they will settle in quickly and enjoy all that PCACS has to offer. Please refer to the website for the starting days and times.
We are also excited to add Rockingham area to our private bus service.
Congratulations to our Graduating Class of 2021
Congratulations to our graduating Class of 2021. Our 2021 Academic Dux, James Wigfield, achieved an ATAR score of 93.2 and plans to study Computer Science at university this year. We wish all of our past students well as they embark on their lives post school.

Advice for the Start of Term
The first few weeks of school can be challenging for students and their families.
These tips are very useful especially in the first few weeks:
- Prioritise sleep as the School day is demanding and returning to early wake-ups can be challenging
- Be organised - pack School bags and set out uniforms the night before
- Start with a good breakfast and pack a healthy recess and lunch plus a water bottle
- Allow plenty of time to arrive at school on time
- Set up a study space at home with a regular study routine
- Use the School diary as a tool for organisation and communication
- Actively listen to the stories of the day
- Be encouraging and positive
- If you are worried, contact the School
I wish everybody all the best for the 2022 School year!
God bless.
Ms Felicity House
Principal
