Managing the ever changing landscape of COVID restrictions has become an art form. I thank our staff, students and parents for responding so well over these past few weeks as we have moved through the various restrictions. Removing masks this week and welcoming parents back to assemblies has been joyous. Parent Teacher Interviews in the Senior School saw our biggest turn out ever. We appreciate the time taken to attend to gain valuable feedback about academic and social progress.
The P&F held a General Meeting at Calista this week. Parents are always welcome to attend the meetings. We have planned alternative times and venues throughout the year so that a variety of parents can attend. Thank you to the P&F for providing the Mother’s Day stalls. The stalls were well subscribed by many of our students as they bought thoughtful gifts. The P&F are now planning the movie night.
The Anglican Schools Commission welcomed Mr Mike Giles to the role of Chief Operating Officer at the start of the year. Mike spent some time with us last week. He was delighted to tour both Wellard and Calista Campuses and was very impressed by the students and the beautiful surroundings. Mike will return next month to attend our Founders’ Day Service and looks forward to seeing the progress on the Chapel.
God bless.
